is responsible for the personal data processed in the context of the operation of this e-learning tool.

The providers of the respective courses are responsible for the processing of personal data within the framework of the course organization and implementation.

Nature, purposes, legal basis and processing, recipients

In the course of using the platform, the following categories are processed by the UWK in the course of its operation:

Log data

The IP address of the user together with data on the time of the request, the target of the request, the amount of data transferred, a message whether the request was successful, the browser used, the operating system used, as well as the website from which the access was made (if the access was made via a link). This data is used exclusively to ensure system security and is processed by our order processor Acriba GmbH (hosting provider).  The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit f DSGVO (legitimate interest) and TKG § 165 para. 3.

E-learning contents

By actively clicking on the banner displayed when you call up the website, you decide whether you want to use the e-learning content:

A. without embedding external service providers in the form of PDFs and images and, if applicable, further links;

We would like to point out that by selecting to use the e-learning content with the service providers mentioned, you consent to the transfer of data, i.e. your personal data (e.g. IP address) to them in a third country (USA). The included services may fall within the scope of 50 U.S.Code § 1881 (b) (4) and as such are subject to surveillance by U.S. intelligence agencies pursuant to 50 U.S.Code § 1881a („FISA 702“). Compliance with European data protection requirements cannot, therefore, be guaranteed. The transfer of your data to a third country for a specific purpose takes place under the exceptional provision of Art 49 (1) lit a DSGVO, in that you have implicitly given us your consent after being informed of the risks in the context of the banner that appears at the entrance.

For information about processing by the respective course provider(s), please contact the organization that provided you with the link to this tool.

To exercise your rights of access, deletion, etc. according to Art. 15 – 20 DSGVO, please contact the above-mentioned contact person or, in a subsidiary capacity, the data protection officer. Due to a lack of identifiability, your rights may be restricted without the provision of further information pursuant to Article 11 of the GDPR.
